The history of Kefalos Hotels stretches back to the 1990s, when the company’s managing director opened his first hotel, the Kefalos Damon Hotel Apts, a novel style of lodging with self-catering amenities in a great Paphos location, at the young age of 30. A holiday village with all the amenities of a hotel but larger rooms and self-catering amenities in sugar cube blocks rather than huge tall buildings was invented in 2000 after Kefalos Damon’s remarkable success, the managing director having forecasted the future of Paphos’ hotel sector. Kefalos Beach Tourist Village, with its distinctive location right on the seafront, quickly gained popularity as a place to stay.
